Texas High Magazine is a NEW online magazine made with the sole purpose of celebrating THE GOOD that can be found in Texas schools.
It’s a publication written BY students, FOR students, and ABOUT students.
We want to celebrate YOU!
We want to hear about athletic accomplishments, academic successes, clubs and organizations at your school, special interest projects. We want to hear it ALL!
To submit, please take a look at the following guidelines:
- FIND the GOOD in your community or school.
- Write a publish-worthy article of your choice.
- Include a picture if you so desire. Pictures are not currently mandatory.
- Send your article in the BODY of an email to g@texashigh.com. Please send from a school email address if at all possible.
- The SUBJECT of your email should say: STORY NAME (SCHOOL NAME). For example: MV Cheerleaders Win State (Mount Vernon High School)
- Include the author’s contact information.
- Include a contact person at the school — Journalism Teacher would be great, but can be anyone! — and include their contact information.
- If your article is selected, you AND your school contact will be contacted by a member of the Texas High staff. The email address will always be from texashigh.com.
- We’ll talk you through the next steps.
- Once selected and all steps are complete, you’ll be officially published!
